The third annual Georgia Pollinator Census is coming up on August 20 and 21, 2021 -- an event coordinated by the University of Georgia Extension Service. The goal of the project is three-fold:
- To create or add sustainable or pollinator habitat across Georgia
- To increase entomological literacy
- To generate useful data about pollinator populations (a citizen science project)
It's easy to do and on the Georgia Pollinator website there is a downloadable guide to identification and a worksheet that you can take with you while you do your counting.
